North Texas ACCA is an affiliated chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. Legislation that affects contractors on a local, state or national level will be posted on this site with links to either TACCA or National ACCA's web sites. Texas ACCA: ACCA-Texas is a nonprofit trade association organized in 1979 to create guidelines and standards for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration contractors in Texas. Vision: The vision of the Community Services Foundation (Foundation) is to improve the quality of life for elderly, disabled, low-income homeowners and non-profit or community agencies that provide support services for people in crisis. Mission: The mission of the Foundation is to improve the living climate conditions of elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners and non-profit or community agencies serving people in crisis by providing safe, energy efficient air conditioning and heating equipment. This mission is accomplished through four separate and distinct programs: Heat the Town, Beat the Heat, Habitat for Humanity and Short-term Community Projects. Programs: Heat the Town is a program that provides repairs and services floor furnaces, unvented room heaters and, in some cases, central furnaces.
